Content Abuse / DMCA

Kernel Video Sharing (KVS) is a self-hosted content management system. We develop and license software that website owners install on infrastructure under their control.

We do not operate independent websites that use KVS, host their publicly available content, or manage their publications and moderation. The exception is our official demo website at kvs-demo.com and the official demo sites on its subdomains that we operate.

The presence of the KVS name, logo, video player, or a link to our website does not mean that we own, operate, control, or endorse the website or its content.

Responsibility for third-party content

Independent website owners and operators are responsible for the content they publish, the necessary rights and permissions, compliance with applicable laws, and the handling of content complaints.

KVS does not select, approve, or supervise content published on these websites and does not assume responsibility for it merely because the website uses our software.

Why we cannot remove content from another website

Providing a KVS license does not give us independent administrative access to the license holder’s website, servers, databases, or content. There is no central KVS administration panel through which we can manage content across websites using our software.

We cannot independently remove, edit, or restrict access to individual videos, images, pages, or user accounts on third-party websites. Installation assistance and technical support do not make us the website’s operator or give us editorial control over its publications.

DMCA and abuse reports concerning third-party websites

KVS does not accept or process DMCA notices, abuse reports, or content removal requests on behalf of independent websites using our software. We do not investigate or forward these reports, and they will not receive a response.

We are not the designated DMCA agent or representative of these websites. We do not adjudicate copyright, privacy, consent, ownership, or commercial disputes between third parties. We cannot establish the validity of competing claims, verify the parties’ rights and supporting evidence, or determine whether a complaint is justified or forms part of a dispute between competitors.

Sending a complaint to KVS is not a substitute for notifying the relevant website operator or hosting provider through its designated reporting procedure.

Where to send your complaint

Use the affected website’s DMCA, Report Abuse, or Contact page to reach its operator. If you cannot reach the operator or the issue remains unresolved, contact the website’s hosting provider and follow its reporting procedure.
