After feedback from our potential and existing customers we found that full community features are not required for everybody, but people only need some part of community functionality. Based on that we divided KVS into several packages with different prices, so that give you flexibility to choose the package with meets your requirements.

Now we are nearing the completion of the beta version of our site’s front end. The site is powered by KVS.

Right now, the main stage is moving the user account data and uploaded videos from the old engine into the new site, plus reworking the video adding algorithm and creating a template for online broadcast, plus, adapting our system scripts to the way our new site will be working. I consider this stage to be completed successfully. At this stage, we did our best to learn things where we could to understand the architecture. This is also why we purchased the full version with the source files. All issues related to the way the system core works we handled together with the support team. I felt the support team has actual developers in it. Every response they gave saved us a few days of work which we would have wasted otherwise trying to understand things ourselves. Most questions were answered pretty fast. Quite awesome customer support, really.

After we were done importing and adapted, our main template was ready in 2-3 days. We liked the AJAX listing of videos which we now use wherever we can. In our previous backend script, the listing wasn’t really thought through. Once we go public we are looking forward to a dramatic increase of our user base.
